First Marathon at God's Own Country

Its my second visit to Cochin. This year Feb I came here for my friend Marriage, during those time went for marine drive, it was nice and felt good , while return journey from in train thought of coming again during monsoon session to visit alapuzza and other scenic places but never thought that will get chance to revisit place in the same year!! Now its time for marathon. Mid nov'13 announced the Cochin International Half Marathon dated Dec 29,2013. Around Nov last week its  opened for registration, Fee: Rs.200/- its only for Timing Chip. No Tee and goodie.the day opened immediately done my registration, on the same day booked for train tickets. Plan was like staring from Nagercovil via Trivandram to Cochin. The same return journey as well. On 24th evening started from Chennai by bus to reach my native place morning 6am, this time unfortunately I missed the Christmas service in my church. Even I went to my church directly and received my family and relatives, while coming as usual we took few group pictures. Christmas celebration was over.
On Dec 28 morning 8am started from my house and got a bus to Nagercovil. Reached there by around 10:45, it was bit late to catch the train by 11, I decided  go railway station by auto and reached right time, waited for few minutes and got into train, my coach was half empty and I started seeing outside, I was eager to see the scenic views of Kerala, after around 30 mins train stopped at Iranniel station and , after that I started sleeping around 1'o clock ......

Neerparavai flying on my Head!!!

Recenltly I saw the flim name " NeerParavai". It's totally different from tamil cinema, quality cinema and focused on story. The full movie was taken in "Manapadu" village from Tuticorin Dist. It's a traditional place for Christianity.  There is a one Church near seashore, its believed 500 years old church. The special about the church that there is one wooden piece of cross its believed that the piece of real wooden cross where Jesus was crucified.
                                                   Manapadu Church :

The movie is too realistic , its gives the real of fisherman life styles and their crisis. The character names are very perfect match, liked almost all the character.
